Massage Services
Neuromuscular Massage
Neuromuscular massage utilizes traditional massage techniques, myofascial release, and assisted stretching to create a rehabilitative focused therapy. Each tailored session includes home care suggestions designed to support and maintain the effects of the session. The overall rehabilitative effect of neuromuscular massage is the changing of muscle tissue tension and correction of postural imbalances. This combination corrects and relieves current pain as well as prevents future injury.
Restorative Massage
Restorative massage incorporates a variety of advanced modalities that enhance the bodies natural function. Through individualized bodywork a restorative massage will improve circulation, promote flexibility, restore range of motion, while supporting and encouraging balance of mind and body.Â
Thai Yoga Bodywork
It is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles and assisted yoga postures. The client is completely clothed in loose fitting clothing such as yoga clothes. This style of bodywork is performed on a cushioned mat on the floor where the therapist will be using their hands, feet, knees, and elbows to open up energy lines, and muscles.
Pre/Post Natal Massage
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful compliment for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).
Fertility Massage
Fertility massage, also known as abdominal massage, is indeed a powerful practice with a rich history in traditional healing systems. Its holistic approach focuses on creating balance and promoting circulation, particularly in the lower abdomen and pelvic region. This can positively impact reproductive health, as the massage aims to support the body’s natural rhythms and energy flow.
By targeting the uterus and reproductive organs, the technique seeks to reduce tension and improve blood flow, which is essential for fertility. Its ability to alleviate stress and anxiety, as well as address issues like headaches, back pain, and discomfort, further supports its role in promoting overall well-being. Additionally, the detoxification process facilitated by the massage can help in clearing any blockages in the body, potentially aiding fertility.
The guidelines you mentioned are important for ensuring the best results. It’s crucial to avoid receiving the massage during menstruation and to wait a couple of hours after eating a heavy meal to allow the body to be in an optimal state for the session. Women with an IUD or who are currently bleeding should avoid this treatment, as it may not be suitable or effective in those circumstances.
Scheduling the session between your period and ovulation is ideal, as it can align with the body’s natural cycle, helping to enhance the fertility benefits. It’s wonderful that such treatment can support both physical and emotional health!
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a specialized massage technique specifically designed to support your lymph system. Along with its therapeutic benefits, it is also very gentle, calming and relaxing . Keeping your lymph system healthy helps your body defend against disease and infection. It will give the immune system a boost, calms the inflammatory response, and can aid in any cleansing program. MLD is valuable for many conditions including edema from surgery or traumatic injury, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, migraines, scarring and more.

What Our Clients Say
“
This place is INCOMPARABLE!!! My mind and body were completely BLOWN AWAY after experiencing Thai massage for the 1st time at the hands of Randi, the owner. There is nothing like it and I wish I knew about them sooner. This afforded greater access to areas that just cannot get the same angle/pressure/intensity/coverage on a tradtional massage table. Kind of like when you switch up your workouts, it’s really effective and long lasting. Randi, Laura & Melana all come with an exceptional skillset when it comes to therapeutic treatments including abdominal massage.

Randi is so talented. I came in today with shoulder, neck, and back pain. After an hour of Randi’s magic touch (I need heavy pressure but her long movements made it so comfortable) I left with so much relief and some education on how to keep myself strong, healthy, and stretched at home. My aches were getting in the way of my life and work and I feel so much more at ease knowing when these pains flair up I can stop in to Kamati.
